1.Overall in-charge of the shift and responsible for the Barge operations such as: bag packing operations, bulk loading, unloading cement from ship, and any other related activities in the barge.
2.Coordinate with Dispatch Officer and verify truck availability for loading.
3.Ensure equipment on barge operations with least downtime and to maintain packing within tolerance limit.
4.Control manpower and implement work activities according to assigned duties and responsibilities;
5.Ensure that all instruments, equipment and automation controls are within efficient operating performance.
6.Plan, maintain and do preventive maintenance of equipment to maximize availability and reliability; identify potential problems and provide appropriate solutions.
7.Maintain, rectify and calibrate instruments; analyze and troubleshoot automation problems.
8.Monitor the condition of instruments control and analyze trends in order to ascertain the required maintenance.
9.Ensure spare parts availability and make purchase requisitions on instruments / automation parts. Prepare tools, material and other resources based on work orders, repair and technical procedures.
10.nform the Operations Manager on daily basis about all things that affect the operations; submit weekly report about instrumentation work activities; attend weekly coordination meeting.
11.Ensure Barge orderliness, cleanliness, safety, security at all times.
